The Programme
+Shield Programme is a multi-tier air-defence and force-protection ecosystem, built in Europe for European and allied security.
European airspace is contested. Inexpensive remotely operated systems and loitering munitions are rewriting the economics of conflict — defenders cannot indefinitely spend millions to defeat threats that cost tens of thousands.
+Shield answers with a layered architecture: a common command layer, a sovereign communications backbone, and a capability ladder from fieldable counter-UAS to long-horizon research. At the core of every tier is a non-negotiable principle — a human authorises lethal engagement.
The programme is being prepared as a NATO DIANA Challenge 2027 submission and is built against NATO STANAG specifications.
